Every decade has its mistakes, of course, but one nice thing about the past 10 years' foibles, foul-ups and flubs is that so often they came with neat, two-word monikers, almost like keepsakes: "Wardrobe malfunction." "Mission Accomplished." "Balloon boy."
Here's a review of 10 what-were-they-thinking moments.
1. Bernie Madoff has been called many names. For one federal regulatory sleuth, he was ... "a wonderful storyteller." For years, the Securities and Exchange Commission received detailed complaints that Madoff's investment operation was certainly fishy and probably criminal ("Nothing more than a Ponzi Scheme," a tipster wrote in 2000, eight years before Madoff confessed). SEC examiners found, instead, "a very captivating speaker" who assured them he was not "greedy" and all was OK. An SEC branch's decision to shelve the probe turned out to be a mistake — one of, oh, several billion blamed on Madoff, who's now charming fellow inmates in prison.
2. White House flight of fancy, 2003: Advance folks had almost everything right: the golden sunset light, President George W. Bush's dramatic landing on the carrier deck, the speech. But that giant "Mission Accomplished" sign, with years of mission still ahead, who came up with that? Reporters launched the "bannergate" investigation.
3. White House flight of fancy, 2009: We always thought Air Force One takes a good picture in any setting — but an aide to President Barack Obama thought a few snaps with lower Manhattan as a backdrop would be dramatic. How's this for drama: panicked office workers, seeing the low-flying 747 shadowed by a fighter plane, streaming out of buildings, phrases like "stupid and alarming" coming from local officials, and pretty much everybody mad about the taxpayer-funded photo op's price tag: $328,835. The aide was, er, grounded.
4. Aerial ambitiousness also gave us the balloon boy. When a homemade foil-covered balloon supposedly slipped its tether with a 6-year-old inside, we all held our breath — except some heavy-breathing cable anchors. The balloon finally landed — empty — and the kid was found safe at home, hiding, his father said. But why? "You had said that we did this for a show," the tyke told Dad, a would-be reality TV star, live on CNN. Whoops. Hoax charges followed.
5. Publishing mistake of the decade, coming in 2006: "If I Did It," O.J. Simpson's book about how the murders of which he was acquitted might have been carried out. Amid furious protest, the project was aborted, the book was ordered "pulped," and the publisher acknowledged its "ill-considered project." And that wasn't the biggest faux pas of the decade for OJ. No. 1 was going to that Nevada hotel with weapon-toting friends to "reclaim" his sports memorabilia. "It was," said the sentencing judge, "much more than stupidity."
6. In 2006, after former Vice President Dick Cheney shot an orange-clad hunting buddy who looked nothing like a quail, the pockmarked victim graciously allowed that accidents happen. How did others react? A Texas Monthly cover threatened: "If you don't buy this magazine, Dick Cheney will shoot you in the face." A hockey team held a "Cheney Hunting Vest Night" — "Don't Shoot, I'm Human," the vests said. Even Bush joked about his veep's middle initial: "B. stands for Bull's Eye."
7. Looking for guv in all the wrong places. That's how you might categorize a couple of high-profile statehouse mistakes. South Carolina's family-values Gov. Mark Sanford missed the Appalachian Trail and ended up in Buenos Aires, with his Argentine "soul mate." New York's crime-fighting Gov. Eliot Spitzer turned up far from Albany and as "Client-9" in a hooker's black book.
8. "So, we were watching the boob tube Sunday..." So began an editorial in the Lebanon (Pa.) Daily News, commenting on the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show during which Justin Timberlake tore away part of Janet Jackson's costume, momentarily exposing her breast in what was later called a "wardrobe malfunction." Knowing the offense given to millions of live viewers (plus those offended again and again as they cued up the YouTube rerun), Federal Communications Commission smut-busters imposed a fine — but that, too, turned out to be a mistake. Arbitrary and capricious, a federal appeals court ruled.
9. What caused California's energy crisis back in 2000-2001? Deregulation? Too many hands on the AC switch? What about "creativity" by Enron employees? On Jan. 17, 2001, amid rolling blackouts, a fellow at the energy-trading firm told a power plant worker to "get a little creative" and find a reason to shut down, tightening electricity supply. "OK, so we're just coming down for some maintenance, like a forced outage type thing?" the worker offered. "I knew I could count on you," his colleague replied on a tape revealed in a lawsuit. California's grid eventually stabilized, but Enron itself blinked out — under hefty fines and criminal charges.
10. Finally, it must be acknowledged there were a few mistakes in the entertainment world — and we're not just talking about "American Idol" auditions. No, at least those didn't cost $100 million, the amount investors plowed into the 2002 movie "The Adventures of Pluto Nash." Basically, nobody showed up at the box office. Well, not quite nobody. "I know two or three people that liked this movie," said the star, Eddie Murphy. Who knew there'd be no audience for a comedy about a nightclub arson on the moon?

Producer Swizz Beatz, and ex-wife Mashonda took to Twitter in a sparring of words over Swizz’s relationship with singer Alicia Keys (who it’s alleged he started a relationship with WHILE still married to Mashonda).
Swizz wrote the following on his Twitter:
“All people want to talk about is my divorce. Wow! F**k what they say or said. I’m a good man, but when it’s time to move on, it’s just time! I’m also a great f**king Dad, but nobody give a sh*t! People talking about I cheated. How the fuck can I cheat when I was separated, ass-holes? It’s been damn near 2 years”.
To which Mashonda retaliated on her Twitter with:
“Here’s the bottom line, you were married when you started your affair, you’re married now. And both of you knew what it was. Separation came after the fact. Now peps, this is why it’s important to keep God 1st! I’m not gonna battle my son’s father on twitter about his mistress. Ya’ll WON! But just know! I never lied and NEVER will. Thank God we are doing this before 2010. My new year will not involve this scandal. That’s all folks”.
Both parties have since taken down their tweets, which leaves me with this question, why are folks airing their dirty laundry over the net?

Well being a woman i understand what Mashonda is going through. Trust me dear he will be back like most men do. These men have one thought and Alicia need to understand the old rule. How you got him will be the way that you lose him. Reguardless if the public know the whole story or not, for the ones that are mature enough we know that he more then likely feed her a bulls**t line and ms. Keys was already feeling him. But once the wife comes out of the wood works and start to tell the story you might want to listen cause we don’t lie about their sorry behinds. So Mashonda you go on with your life and with your baby cause trust and believe the man will do one of two things, come try to creep or try to run game to get back in… But swizz need to be careful as well cause she might do it to him. Have your day girl cause he will try to holla back.

Of course we don’t know the real story.. There’s three sides: his, hers and the truth.. It funny how two people can be married for years and still come out of it with different perspectives.. Things just don’t sound right to me.. If they were seperated, Swiss had the right to date or do whatever it is he does.. I thought a seperation meant time apart to decide what you really want, and obviously he realize Alicia is where he wanted to be.. Mashonda says the cheating started BEFORE the seperation? (laughs) Might be true, but doesn’t make sense as to why she seperated, just get a damn divorce and take half. No need to blast your biz on the net! Well being a woman i understand what Mashonda is going through. Trust me dear he will be back like most men do. These men have one thought and Alicia need to understand the old rule. How you got him will be the way that you lose him. Reguardless if the public know the whole story or not, for the ones that are mature enough we know that he more then likely feed her a bulls**t line and ms. Keys was already feeling him. But once the wife comes out of the wood works and start to tell the story you might want to listen cause we don’t lie about their sorry behinds. So Mashonda you go on with your life and with your baby cause trust and believe the man will do one of two things, come try to creep or try to run game to get back in… But swizz need to be careful as well cause she might do it to him. Have your day girl cause he will try to holla back.

Of course we don’t know the real story.. There’s three sides: his, hers and the truth.. It funny how two people can be married for years and still come out of it with different perspectives.. Things just don’t sound right to me.. If they were seperated, Swiss had the right to date or do whatever it is he does.. I thought a seperation meant time apart to decide what you really want, and obviously he realize Alicia is where he wanted to be.. Mashonda says the cheating started BEFORE the seperation? (laughs) Might be true, but doesn’t make sense as to why she seperated, just get a damn divorce and take half. No need to blast your biz on the net! I think Mashonda just has a problem with him being with ALICIA.. Any other regular female would have been okay I’m sure..
But of couse thats just my opinion.. Best wishes to all three!

Ok so I don’t condone this…but I’m understanding both sides…however, if I were a dude married or not and I had a chance to be with Alicia Keys…I might take it. I should have waited until the divorce was final before going public. Lamya Cammon is angry, confused, and scared by the incident last week in which the apparently frustrated teacher cut one of her braids off after she wouldn’t stop playing with them in class.
Cammon, 7, sports a few dozen braids, but one is conspicuously absent.
“She told me to stop playing with it. Then cut it off and sent me back to my desk,” Cammon said.
Cammon’s a first-grader at Congress Elementary and said her teacher used a pair of classroom scissors to cut off one of the braids after she absent-mindedly kept playing with them.

Kelis: “I Don’t Give A Sh*t What Anyone Has To Say About My Divorce”

Kelis recently did an interview with honeymag.com and we have to admit, the singer is still a sassy little thing. During the interview she answered questions on people taking sides during her divorce with Nas, her pregnancy and to anyone that has something to say about her divorce…
Here are some excerpts from the interview:
HM: Aww! What about your outlook on life, has being a mother changed that at all?
Kelis: It’s put a lot of things into perspective. I don’t think it’s changed who I am, but I think it just makes what’s important clear.
HM: On your blog you mentioned walking down the street pregnant and hearing New Yorkers say so much to you. You recently went through your divorce with Nas and when a lot of celebrity couples separate, the public tends to take sides and be very verbal about who they do and don’t support…
Kelis: I don’t give a sh*t about that. I don’t give a sh*t what anyone has to say about [my divorce].
HM: Were you receiving both love and hate?
Kelis: Yeah, I get both, but I don’t really care either way (laughs). At the end of the day it’s my life.
HM: Indeed. I must ask, despite everything, are you and Nas cool with each other?
Kelis: (Laughs) We’re not talking about it.
HM: Damn! Okay, respected. Going back to your site, the first thing that caught our attention was your hair. What inspired the silver and gold look?
Kelis: Oh, I don’t know, I just feel like an animal. I kept thinking of a wolf or a husky and that’s what they look like.
HM: Are you the type to wake up and say “I want to switch my hair up today” or is it premeditated?
Kelis: Um, it’s a little bit of both.

HM: In regards to you, that seems to be the consensus for a lot of today’s female artists as well. How do you feel about all these half-shaved heads on chicks like Cassie and Rihanna?
Kelis: Well I was definitely the first to do it. The only other person I would give credit before me is Pepa. Other than that, I expect them to copy me. What else are they supposed to do? They’re young. God bless them.
HM: It gets interesting though because you’ve reached a point where you can actually see the artists of Generation Kelis, yet it’s not like you’ve retired.
Kelis: Yeah. At the end of the day, everyone is just waiting for someone to do something new and if it’s generally me, then I’ll take that responsibility (laughs).
HM: Who do you think did your look the best?
Kelis: Oh, I don’t know. They’re all duplicates (laughs).
HM: (Laughs) You’re like, “I did it the best, f*ck that!”
Kelis: I did though (laughs).
HM: You got that! So we hear you’re a certified chef, it’s good to see an artist do more than just acting on the side. Has cooking always been your thing?
Kelis: I just love food. I love the lifestyle of it and I love that every great event in one’s life is surrounded by food. Everywhere there’s love there’s food.
HM: I imagine being a chef would come in handy during your pregnancy, but were you eating any crazy combos like PB and pickles?
Kelis: (Laughs) Not at all. I just tend to eat everything, but not anything weird.
HM: Was it easy for you to lose the baby weight?
Kelis: I was scared to death actually, but there was no way I wasn’t losing that weight. Absolutely, no way!
HM: Being a style icon did you feel limited with your wardrobe options while pregnant?
Kelis: Oh, totally. I was completely limited. But finally you just surrender and say “You know what? I’m enormous and this is what it is.” I’m just so happy to be wearing normal clothes again.

Kelis: I just love food. I love the lifestyle of it and I love that every great event in one’s life is surrounded by food. Everywhere there’s love there’s food.
HM: I imagine being a chef would come in handy during your pregnancy, but were you eating any crazy combos like PB and pickles?
Kelis: (Laughs) Not at all. I just tend to eat everything, but not anything weird.
HM: Was it easy for you to lose the baby weight?
Kelis: I was scared to death actually, but there was no way I wasn’t losing that weight. Absolutely, no way!
HM: Being a style icon did you feel limited with your wardrobe options while pregnant?
Kelis: Oh, totally. I was completely limited. But finally you just surrender and say “You know what? I’m enormous and this is what it is.” I’m just so happy to be wearing normal clothes again.

Pregnant reality star Deelishis and her fiance Orlando had a bit of a scare last week. Apparently Deelish and her man were in the midst of a passionate love making session and things almost got out of control.

UPDATE: A funeral date has been set for “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss’ ex-fiance A.J. Jewell. According to Entertainment Tonight the funeral for Jewell will be held this Friday in Georgia. Jewell, 34, died from “massive head injuries” sustained during a fight, which took place in the parking lot of a strip club where police say Jewell worked.
In this EXCLUSIVE blog sent to HelloBeautiful.com, “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” KANDI BURRESS expresses her heartfelt grief over the loss of her fiance, AJ Jewell. Jewell suffered tragic head injuries after a fight at an Atlanta nightclub.
Kandi has asked that her privacy be respected at this difficult time.
TIME
Why is it that every TIME something great is happening in your life it seems like its accompanied by something tragic? I have lost two very important men in my life in one week. The 1st was my Uncle Ralph, the 2nd is A.J.
My Uncle Ralph was one of my favorite people in the whole wide world. He was the type that could make you laugh even when you were pissed off and make you smile as soon as he walked in the room. My Uncle was one of my biggest supporters & he would do anything for me or the rest of my family. Even though he didn’t have any money he was always trying to give me little gifts. Which I thought was cute because he was just trying to show how much he cared event hough he knew I didn’t need it. Uncle Ralph was gay & always lived his life loud & proud. He partied like a rock star growing up & still enjoyed life as an older man. We first found out about his cancer at least two years ago. It went into remission for a while & eventually came back to claim his life slowly until TIME came for him to go to GOD.
When you loose someone to an illness like cancer it hurts bad, but at least you get a little TIME to prepare yourself for what’s coming. Some people make amends, some spend a little more TIME with the person in their last days, and others at least get a chance just to say “I love you”. When you know death is coming you get a chance to make preparations, and although its a difficult conversation you even get to ask the person what they would like to be done on their behalf. So what about when death comes as a suprise?
I hate to question God but don’t you hate when you feel like somebody was just taken away too soon? I just feel like A.J just had so much more living to do. Not that my Uncle didn’t, don’t get me wrong, but it just don’t feel right that A.J’s TIME is over.
There was so much that he wanted to do. When I spoke to him yesterday I never thought that it would be for the last TIME! A.J had a great spirit and he was a good man. He was a father of six kids but had other children that he raised and loved like his own, including mine. So AJ was a father to many. It truly bothered him the way he has been portrayed in the media and actually it has bothered me too. AJ was NOT a “Scrub” like so many people like to blog and say. He had his own when we got together. He did not need me for financial gain, nor did he use me to gain some type of celebrity. When we got together we had no clue that we would be on t.v.. In all actuality, A.J hated and was uncomfortable with being on camera. He also hated that we made the decision to be on the show. Off camera A.J was very charismatic and a friend to many. He believed in God and always genuinely tried to do the right thing.
He is gonna be missed by so many. Especially by his children, the biological ones & the ones he just claimed. When I told my daughter Riley she just cried all morning. I didn’t know what to do or to say to make her feel better. I started wondering how his other kids were handling it. That’s one reason why I feel like he was just taken too soon. Now they have no father. That breaks me down inside. They needed more TIME.
When you lose someone unexpectedly & sudden like we lost A.J there are all these unanswered questions. We didn’t get a chance to spend a little more TIME & make amends. Some of us didn’t get to say or just didn’t say “I love you”. I know I’m sitting here thinking about things I wish I would’ve done differently or things I wish I would’ve said that I’ll never get to do now. When you’re young you automatically assume that you got all the TIME in the world but then something like this happens and you realize that you’re not guaranteed TIME. It brings to life so many sayings that people say like, “Tell them that you love them everyday cuz you may never get to say it again” or “Don’t go to bed mad cuz they may not be here tomorrow”. A lot of young people don’t think about life insurance policies or wills because we think we have so much TIME. That saying TIME is valuable has never been more real to me than it is right now. TIME is way more important than money or tangible things but yet we take it for granted. Please take it from me, treasure the TIME you have with your loved ones & if there are issues or problems make sure you work it out before you run out of TIME….

Kandi, it seems that everyone always has something to say about your relationship when you seem too happy. I guess folks feel its too good to be true for you to be such a successful black woman in the public eye and have a relationship with the “everyday” black man without something being wrong with him. Most of the people talking have too many issues and find it easier to find fault in someone like your fiance because they dont have the same things. I admire you Kandi as a successful black woman and you are the reason that I began watching Real Housewives of Atlanta! I wish you, your kids, your fiance’s kids and family all the blessings due to you from GOD as only HE can judge you and HE knows your fiance’s spirit. May he rest peacefully in heaven. GOD BLESS YOU!

Kim Zolciak, “please Pray for my dear friend Kandi and her loss. I adored AJ and he will be missed dearly.”
Dwight Eubanks, “She’s had such a dramatic year,” he said. “She had her uncle die, too. She has her own career to focus on. Now her life has changed with her daughter and taking temporary custody of [AJ's] twins. My father was murdered some years ago. I know the pain and stress she’s going through.”

UPDATE: A funeral date has been set for “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss’ ex-fiance A.J. Jewell. According to Entertainment Tonight the funeral for Jewell will be held this Friday in Georgia. Jewell, 34, died from “massive head injuries” sustained during a fight, which took place in the parking lot of a strip club where police say Jewell worked.
In this EXCLUSIVE blog sent to HelloBeautiful.com, “Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” KANDI BURRESS expresses her heartfelt grief over the loss of her fiance, AJ Jewell. Jewell suffered tragic head injuries after a fight at an Atlanta nightclub.
Kandi has asked that her privacy be respected at this difficult time.
TIME
Why is it that every TIME something great is happening in your life it seems like its accompanied by something tragic? I have lost two very important men in my life in one week. The 1st was my Uncle Ralph, the 2nd is A.J.
My Uncle Ralph was one of my favorite people in the whole wide world. He was the type that could make you laugh even when you were pissed off and make you smile as soon as he walked in the room. My Uncle was one of my biggest supporters & he would do anything for me or the rest of my family. Even though he didn’t have any money he was always trying to give me little gifts. Which I thought was cute because he was just trying to show how much he cared event hough he knew I didn’t need it. Uncle Ralph was gay & always lived his life loud & proud. He partied like a rock star growing up & still enjoyed life as an older man. We first found out about his cancer at least two years ago. It went into remission for a while & eventually came back to claim his life slowly until TIME came for him to go to GOD.
When you loose someone to an illness like cancer it hurts bad, but at least you get a little TIME to prepare yourself for what’s coming. Some people make amends, some spend a little more TIME with the person in their last days, and others at least get a chance just to say “I love you”. When you know death is coming you get a chance to make preparations, and although its a difficult conversation you even get to ask the person what they would like to be done on their behalf. So what about when death comes as a suprise?
I hate to question God but don’t you hate when you feel like somebody was just taken away too soon? I just feel like A.J just had so much more living to do. Not that my Uncle didn’t, don’t get me wrong, but it just don’t feel right that A.J’s TIME is over.
There was so much that he wanted to do. When I spoke to him yesterday I never thought that it would be for the last TIME! A.J had a great spirit and he was a good man. He was a father of six kids but had other children that he raised and loved like his own, including mine. So AJ was a father to many. It truly bothered him the way he has been portrayed in the media and actually it has bothered me too. AJ was NOT a “Scrub” like so many people like to blog and say. He had his own when we got together. He did not need me for financial gain, nor did he use me to gain some type of celebrity. When we got together we had no clue that we would be on t.v.. In all actuality, A.J hated and was uncomfortable with being on camera. He also hated that we made the decision to be on the show. Off camera A.J was very charismatic and a friend to many. He believed in God and always genuinely tried to do the right thing.
He is gonna be missed by so many. Especially by his children, the biological ones & the ones he just claimed. When I told my daughter Riley she just cried all morning. I didn’t know what to do or to say to make her feel better. I started wondering how his other kids were handling it. That’s one reason why I feel like he was just taken too soon. Now they have no father. That breaks me down inside. They needed more TIME.
When you lose someone unexpectedly & sudden like we lost A.J there are all these unanswered questions. We didn’t get a chance to spend a little more TIME & make amends. Some of us didn’t get to say or just didn’t say “I love you”. I know I’m sitting here thinking about things I wish I would’ve done differently or things I wish I would’ve said that I’ll never get to do now. When you’re young you automatically assume that you got all the TIME in the world but then something like this happens and you realize that you’re not guaranteed TIME. It brings to life so many sayings that people say like, “Tell them that you love them everyday cuz you may never get to say it again” or “Don’t go to bed mad cuz they may not be here tomorrow”. A lot of young people don’t think about life insurance policies or wills because we think we have so much TIME. That saying TIME is valuable has never been more real to me than it is right now. TIME is way more important than money or tangible things but yet we take it for granted. Please take it from me, treasure the TIME you have with your loved ones & if there are issues or problems make sure you work it out before you run out of TIME….

Kandi, it seems that everyone always has something to say about your relationship when you seem too happy. I guess folks feel its too good to be true for you to be such a successful black woman in the public eye and have a relationship with the “everyday” black man without something being wrong with him. Most of the people talking have too many issues and find it easier to find fault in someone like your fiance because they dont have the same things. I admire you Kandi as a successful black woman and you are the reason that I began watching Real Housewives of Atlanta! I wish you, your kids, your fiance’s kids and family all the blessings due to you from GOD as only HE can judge you and HE knows your fiance’s spirit. May he rest peacefully in heaven. GOD BLESS YOU!

Days after blocking his baby mama Royce Reed from speaking his name, NBA’’s Dwight Howard is suing her for $9 million dollars. Does this chick even have that much money? According to globalgrind.com, Dwight Howard has filed a lawsuit against is baby mama for defamatory comments on a gossip site. His suit says she is responsible for these comments “directly or indirectly” posted on the site under an alias:
– “[Dwight] hasn’t seen his son in two months.”
– “Why file an injunction if you have nothing to hide?”
– “But the bottom line is Dwight is a douchebag.”
Royce’s lawyer said she is “flabbergasted” by the lawsuit claiming she has nothing to do with the comments. Dwight wants $9,205,000 in damages.

I miss the Junior Mafia Lil Kim. Not only did she look good but could go round for round with male emcees at the time. In some of those pics she does look decent but now she starting to look like a tranny (transvestite). I hope she gets things together. Hope to hear new music from her soon.

She looked really pretty on pics 3,6,7,8 and 11. However, she was pretty as the old “Lil’ Kim from Brooklyn”. Sad thing she didn’t realize that (smh)!!! Pic #5 was a horrible pic…looks like her mustache needed waxing (LOL)! Whatever the case it seems like she is improving her appearance and that is good for her. I hope she is done with the plastic surgery and can redeem her career in the rap game because she was once a force to be reckoned with. Not too many females in the rap game now-a-days doing anything worthwhile so it would be nice for her to make a comeback .

God loves the sinner not the sin. The bible says come just as you are, but it doesn’t say remain in your ways. All over the scriptures God talks to us about change, about the Holy Spirit changing us. It’s so sad how some people just take the word of God and twist it around to suit their own selfish and fleshy desires. Tonex wants to have his cake and eat it to. He wants to have the church and the blessings that come along with it, while living in utter abomination with men. It won’t work.. And to call the bible archaic! And how the brimstone preachers aren’t cutting it anymore! Of course they don’t cut it for types like Tonex, because they preach the word the way it’s been written and don’t try to twist it up to suit this sinful generation! Yo… let me stop man.. I pray he finds deliverance and realizes that accepting an evil spirit and trying to get God to bless you with it is NOT the way!

Let’s just forget about whether his sexuality choices are right or wrong…was he safe with his wife? I know that it is PC to say that you should worry about aids from everyone…and that’s true…but I know when I first found out that an ex of mine did things with men…unprotected…I was terrified. These men who are trying to figure out what they want MUST be more responsible! You cannot just go on feelings anymore people…truly think about what will happen the next day. We always want to do what feels good and right at the time but I truly believe that it’s a trick of the devil. Tonex will soon find out that his current choice isn’t the answer to his happiness either. He not only needs to be true about his past and true about what he’s doing…he has to be true about what the Word says. There have been so many times when I look into the Bible and study…I read things that I don’t like to read. It is so sad that God finds homosexuality detestable in his eyes because I personally think that people should be able to love who they want to. But the fact is if you chose to be a Christian and follow the Word of the Lord then you will learn things that you may not like, but the truth is it’s unchangeable. God hasn’t changed from the time before the Bible was written and he hasn’t changed it now. I know everyone likes to say a sin is a sin…but there are sin’s that lead to death and there are sins that don’t. Bad sexual choices are things that lead to death whether you are straight or gay. I only hope that in each situation he is protecting himself, as for women we just have to be smart and true to our instincts…there is always something. While I was with my ex there was always something that bothered me…I journaled about it all the time…then one night I had a dream. Later the guy told me…those months were the most terrible moments in my life. It turned out that everything was fine in terms of my health, but it took me 2yrs to get over the emotional baggage that came with his irresponsibility. No matter what your choices are…just think about the after…think about tomorrow. If you will notice, the world is going in this direction as well. When we were growing up we were hard pressed to find shows that had openly gay situations…in terms of people in our lives, we knew, but we didn’t really know. Unfortunately as the world goes, so goes many people in the Church. It can’t be like that we can’t conform….anyway I have written a book…I am just saddened by learning of this. I just think about all those people who follow this man…one thing that struck me was his comment about his father and the church that he’s leading…he said that his father had a vision…”well it’s my vision now” shouldn’t it be God’s vision? Can he seriously say in his quiet moments, if he has them with the Lord, that what he is doing is the right thing? We are so messed up in the Church…it ain’t even funny.

Wow! I loved his music too. I knew there was something about him I just couldn’t put my finger on it at the time. I can’t believe he’s gay and on top of that married a woman to cover it up. You know to me this is kind of like what Adam and Eve did when they sinned. Adam quickly sowed fig leaves together to cover his sin. This is indeed what Tonex has done, he used his wife as a fig leaf to cover up his sin. Then trying to get the word of God to cosign with him choosing to being gay. I know that it is PC to say that you should worry about aids from everyone…and that’s true…but I know when I first found out that an ex of mine did things with men…unprotected…I was terrified. These men who are trying to figure out what they want MUST be more responsible! You cannot just go on feelings anymore people…truly think about what will happen the next day. We always want to do what feels good and right at the time but I truly believe that it’s a trick of the devil. Tonex will soon find out that his current choice isn’t the answer to his happiness either. He not only needs to be true about his past and true about what he’s doing…he has to be true about what the Word says. There have been so many times when I look into the Bible and study…I read things that I don’t like to read. It is so sad that God finds homosexuality detestable in his eyes because I personally think that people should be able to love who they want to. But the fact is if you chose to be a Christian and follow the Word of the Lord then you will learn things that you may not like, but the truth is it’s unchangeable. God hasn’t changed from the time before the Bible was written and he hasn’t changed it now. I know everyone likes to say a sin is a sin…but there are sin’s that lead to death and there are sins that don’t. Bad sexual choices are things that lead to death whether you are straight or gay. I only hope that in each situation he is protecting himself, as for women we just have to be smart and true to our instincts…there is always something. While I was with my ex there was always something that bothered me…I journaled about it all the time…then one night I had a dream. Later the guy told me…those months were the most terrible moments in my life. It turned out that everything was fine in terms of my health, but it took me 2yrs to get over the emotional baggage that came with his irresponsibility. No matter what your choices are…just think about the after…think about tomorrow. If you will notice, the world is going in this direction as well. When we were growing up we were hard pressed to find shows that had openly gay situations…in terms of people in our lives, we knew, but we didn’t really know. Unfortunately as the world goes, so goes many people in the Church. It can’t be like that we can’t conform….anyway I have written a book…I am just saddened by learning of this. I just think about all those people who follow this man…one thing that struck me was his comment about his father and the church that he’s leading…he said that his father had a vision…”well it’s my vision now” shouldn’t it be God’s vision? Can he seriously say in his quiet moments, if he has them with the Lord, that what he is doing is the right thing? We are so messed up in the Church…it ain’t even funny.

I would like to say that its good that he know God loves him because he does but God does not except homosexuality, the bible speaks clearly about a man not laying with man or women with women. He made adam and eve not adam and steve it is sad that he names the name of Christ and continue to live that type of lifestyle, its really scary. Sin is sin no big sin or little sin it is what it is. Fine he chooses this lifestyle and yes God does love you but not the sin so if he chooses to name the name of Christ and hopefully he will be delivered believe I am not perfect only Christ was and He was crucified. God did not make you gay.

i’m setting here reading your comments about Tonex being Gay. All i got to say about it is that I’m happy you are not “GOD” because god is all about love and forgiveness. being gay is not a sin, but to act on it is. My prayers go out to all of you who think they know GOD.

Wow! I loved his music too. I knew there was something about him I just couldn’t put my finger on it at the time. I can’t believe he’s gay and on top of that married a woman to cover it up. You know to me this is kind of like what Adam and Eve did when they sinned. Adam quickly sowed fig leaves together to cover his sin. This is indeed what Tonex has done, he used his wife as a fig leaf to cover up his sin. Then trying to get the word of God to cosign with him choosing to being gay. I love everyone, even my cousin who is gay, but homosexuality is wrong. My heart and prayers go out to them both. May God heal them both and all who are going through this.
